The Front Range® Day Pack incorporates Ruffwear's signature radial cut saddlebags with the customer-favorite Front Range® Harness platform, making it an everyday pack staple in any dog's gear closet. Dogs can help shoulder the load thanks to the integrated padded harness and belly strap that adjust for exceptional fit and pack stability.

The saddlebag geometry creates a passive compression system that is formfitting and supports efficient load carrying. There are three leash attachment options: a V-ring and a tow loop on the back, and a reinforced webbing loop on the chest – great for redirecting dogs that pull when on leash.

With plenty of internal organization and trail-minded details, this comfortable day pack equips dogs to carry the day's provisions on hikes and frontcountry pursuits.

WHAT’S NEW: Improvements for easier adjustment on girth and belly straps; more recycled materials in shell, webbing, and lining materials; updated front attachment point for improved durability.

    Great fitting pack!

I’ve tried larger harnesses before and none seemed to fit Mister! This back pack was so easy to adjust and he seems to feel comfortable walking with it.

    Love this Pack!

Great pack! the bags sit higher on the dogs body and appear to be more comfortable. The double clip in the front help avoid the awkward over the head/leg take off.

Dog is happy wearing it! the size small fits my Koolie perfectly.

Very nice & practical dog backpack

The dog backpack fits my Wilma in size M perfectly. She immediately felt comfortable with it and didn't act at all as if anything was different than usual. She was able to move freely and comfortably even while hiking. The two pockets are very spacious and offer enough space for toys, leashes, poop bags and other small items. We are very satisfied and can highly recommend Front Range!

    Fantastic Dog Day Pack

My pup wears the Front Range Dog Harness in size small and the size small day pack fits him perfectly. It easily holds two of the 1L collapsable water bottles, packable dog bowl, and more. He doesn't seem to mind the extra weight on his back and looks forward to exploring the mountains with his new pack!

    Perfect Fit

Perfect size for 3 yr old Cavapoo. Great for a short walk or a long hike. The color came out exactly as expected, the pockets are nice and spacious and even with water and treats they don't seem to sag. The handles make it easy to help my pup in and out of the car. The material feels really durable too - overall, very happy with this purchase!
