Ridgeline™ Shoes

The shoe is very well made and, above all, easy to put on. I like it.

I am a long time shopper for harnesses and shoes through ruff wear. I have been very successful with their products. My last shoes were the hi and lights trail shoes. She has also used the grip Tex dog boots. The hi and lights were lighter and easier for Luna to get comfortable to get them settled after I first put them on. . It took her less time to do her high step ritual dance to get them set the way she wanted them on her feet. But, as others noted. They sat too low and drove her doo claw crazy, when I took them off at the end of our trips. Our trips range from hiking to the grocery store or a car ride. I have only tested the ridgeline shoes on Luna twice so far. I am planning to continue to use them for a long time. Once she gets them set on her paws, the high step goes away and she walks normally. Being a resident of a desert state, any time the temperature breaks 95, the boots are on. The ridge lines seem to do a lot better job at protecting her paws from the hot asphalt. After 105 we hide inside. I recommend them so far. I can update this later on durability after she wears them more. I just hope ruff wear releases new colors for the ridge line shoes. I prefer the bright colors. I have them a 4 on durability because I have not had them long enough to test them in that category. As for value, same answer as above. The price is high. I hope they live up to their hype. But Luna has not had the time to test them enough.

My dog is having fun running again before it was sore, so he didn't want to run anymore and now he's running again!
