The Hi & Light Harness is a lightweight, low-profile dog harness that thrives both on fast-paced pursuits and in the paws of those who appreciate the freedom of a minimalist design. It's available in a range of sizes down to XXXS, and you can dial in a sleek, comfortable fit with four points of adjustment. Stay connected with two lead attachment points: an aluminum V-ring on the back and an ultralight, ultrastrong webbing loop on the chest.

The little details pack big functionality without adding weight: a debris-resistant liner to shed dirt and fur, a small pocket for ID tags, and reflective trim to boost visibility in low-light conditions. Whether running, biking, or simply preferring to keep things cool and lighten the load, dogs can keep their momentum with the Hi & Light Harness.

    Great Harness

    This was a change from the other Ruffwear harness we’ve used for 3 years. I wanted a lighter harness for the summer months. It’s great! I do wish that the harnesses overlapped by one inch in size. Louie outgrew the small size which maxed out at 27” and this one begins at 27”. It’s a smidge less tight than I’d like but didn’t have a choice. He is not aggressive so we are not worried. I wanted to add that I found the instructional video useless. The instructor spoke way too fast and rushed through the entire process. Would be helpful to slow down both.

    perfect harness

    Can't wait for Piper to grow into this harness. I thought it would be the right size at xxs but at only 3 lbs. Piper will wait a while to show it off.

    Great harness

    I have three Hi & Lite harnesses and love them. There’s plenty of room for the shoulder to move easily. They wash well.

    One got torn just behind the shoulder under mysterious circumstances—we have no idea how it happened. Otherwise they wear well. My dog has never slipped out of one, either.

    Great harness!

    I ordered the RuffWear dog harness, lightweight, in lichen green, for my 5 year old Maltese dog. It fit her perfectly, and is lightweight and sturdy material, and waterproof. It looks great on her! This will be her new default harness from now on. Good for long walks and trails. I am glad I found this new Ruffwear harness, and I really like their products! Highly recommend, and feels vastly different from the other harnesses I find at pet stores locally.

    Love this Harness!

    This harness is exactly what I was looking for for my Labrador. He doesn't love harnesses so I was looking for something light and easy for him to move it. This fits the bill perfectly. I love that the Y-shape front doesn't impede his shoulder movement, and the light weight water-repellant fabric will be great for camping. I'd prefer it came in solid colours though - the colour options are all a little too flashy for me.
