This harness integrates our Swamp Cooler™ evaporative cooling tech with Ruffwear's reliable multi-use body harness platform. Ruffwear's signature strong leash connection points, high adjustability, quick-grab handle, and easy on/off features are elevated with cooling capability throughout the back panel and supportive chest/belly panel.

    Perfect for a little, old dog with wobbly legs!

    I didn’t actually purchase this for the cooling effect but instead for the full body support it would offer our mini schnauzer whose back legs need assistance. I can clip her lead in and feed it though to the handle to hold up her front and back without too much pressure being on a certain part of her chest. She has a lump on her chest (was removed and is coming back) that her old harness dug into it if we used it to support her so this harness ticks all the boxes.

    She now looks very cool in her support system!

    The XS fit her perfectly with the straps almost as tight they can go and because they clip both sides, she doesn’t have to hold any of her legs up to get it on so it keeps her stable. Perfect for an old dog with wobbly legs!

    Great fit and comfortable

    The harness is a perfect fit and it seems very comfortable. Unfortunately we have only really been able to test the cooling effects ones and my golden retriever seemed to have coped with the sun better, so it must work 😄

    Super cooling vest

    We bought the vest for our Samoyed. Unfortunately, it gets almost too hot for him in summer in Switzerland. The vest has a wonderful cooling effect here. We dip them into the well, lake, stream or pour water from the bottle onto it. The vest stayed wet for a very long time and kept our Samoyed cool for a long time (over several hours). Since the vest is very lightweight, it is for him. Dog also not uncomfortable or an extra weight. We highly recommend the vest!

    Worked well for cooling down my frenchie, but it unfortunately rubbed him raw. I’d use it with caution in breeds with a short coat.
